Three women police officers in uniform, London

Three female Metropolitan Police officers pose in their uniforms (back view). The woman in the centre is a sergeant. The women's uniform was updated in 1931, when a white shirt and tie were introduced, the hat badge became smaller and shoes replaced boots (although in this picture the women are wearing boots)
