Photograph: A well-concealed Bren Gunner of the 7th Gurkha Rifles amongst the thick foliage of the Burmese jungle, 1944 (c). The soldier depicted was probably a member of the 1st Battalion, part of 48th Indian Infantry Brigade of 17th Indian Division.
