Circular, iron helmet with dome, knob finial and riveted, reinforcing ring; traces of gilt decoration; brass sliding nasal with geometrical decoration; avantail of riveted mail with straight skirt and rectangular frontal opening with fringe. Reputedly recovered from the Omdurman battlefield, 2nd Sudan War, 1898
