Bab Sharqi (meaning Eastern Gate, also known as the Gate of the Sun) in Damascus, Syria. Being one of the seven ancient city gates it allows entrance into the Old City of Damascus and stands over the biblical Street Called Straight (Straight Street). It also is the only original Roman gate still standing
