Boxing match which lasted a record 75 rounds, between John L Sullivan (1858-1918), nicknamed the Boston Strongboy, and Jake Kilrain (1859-1937), in the last world heavyweight championship prizefight decided with bare knuckles under London Prize Ring rules, at Richburg, Mississippi, USA. The match ended early in the 76th round when Kilrain's manager threw in the towel
