Charlotte (Lottie) Dod (1871-1960), English tennis player, taking part in the Northern Tournament, Manchester, 22 June 1889, in a match against Blanche Bingley, which she won. She was the youngest woman to win the ladies singles championship at Wimbledon in 1887 at the age of 15
