Entrance to the Danish Village (Den Danske Landsby), Scarboro, Maine, USA, on the Boston Road, eight miles from Portland. The village was a replica of a small medieval Danish town. Each house consisted of one or two rooms, and meals were served in the Raadhus (Town Hall)
