Deported workers from Lowell, Arizona, USA. Union members of the IWW (Industrial Workers of the World) were deported under armed guard and dumped in New Mexico. Also known as the Bisbee Deportation, this involved the illegal kidnapping and deportation of about 1, 300 striking mine workers, their supporters and ordinary bystanders, beginning on 12 July 1917
