HMS Cygnet (H83) - a C-class destroyer built for the Royal Navy in the early 1930s. Initially assigned to the Home Fleet, although temporarily deployed in the Red Sea during the Abyssinia Crisis of 1935-36. Sold to the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) in late 1937 and renamed HMCS St. Laurent
