Mena House Hotel in Giza near Cairo, Egypt. Originally a hunting lodge it was expanded and opened as a hotel in 1886, housing many famous guests such as Arthur Conan Doyle, Winston Churchill or Charlie Chaplin. The hotel is located close to the Giza pyramid complex as the Great Pyramid (left) and the Pyramid of Khafre (right) can be seen in the background of the picture
