Old North Church (officially, Christ Church), in Salem Street, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, built in 1723. It was here that Paul Revere had two signal lanterns displayed in the steeple on 18 April 1775 during the American War of Independence as a warning that British troops were on their way to Lexington and Concord
