Steamship SS Chusan of the China Navigation Company, en route to Shanghai, ran aground between two rocks near Wei-Hai-Wei island (at the time used as a British naval base), north east China, on 31 October 1932. Seen here are people on deck and in a boat alongside, probably part of a salvage operation
