Cannon firing in pub -1
The owner of a company manufacturing miniature cannons test fires one of his products in the Quarter House pub, Compton Road, Wolverhampton. He used the pub because the neighbours near his factory complained about the noise of the test firing. The regulars of the pub didn't mind. The cannon were used as starting guns for yacht races etc.First published The Independent
