David Livingstone's gun
An auctioneer with David Livingstone's gun when it came up for sale at an auction room in Staffordshire. Livingstone took the Hollis and Son gun to Africa and it was repaired there. The gun was brought back to UK with the exporer's body and personal effects in 1873 by Joseph Wainwright and faithful bearers Chuma and Susi. First published The Times newspaper
