Barwell Farm School / Destitute Asylum, Adelaide
Boys at the farm school that operated in 1922-4 at the former Destitute Asylum site at Kintore Avenue, Adelaide. The school was set up by Sir Henry Barwell for boys immigrating from Britain. The workhouse-like Destitute Asylum was founded in 1851 and closed in 1918
