Birmingham Union Cottage Homes, Marston Green, Warwickshire
View of the cottage homes at Marston Green, to the east of Birmingham. The homes were opened by the Birmingham Poor Law Authorities in 1879 to house over 400 pauper children away from the workhouse. As well as the cottages each housing up to 30 children, there was a school, infirmary, swimming baths, workshops and a farm
