Boys Band at Greenwich Union Cottage Homes, Lamorbey, Sidcu
A group of boys and staff show the trades taught at the Greenwich and Deptford Union's cottage homes site at Lamorbey, near Sidcup, Kent. Tools being used by the boys include a mallet, hammer, plane, sewing-machine and iron. The homes, later known as The Hollies, were opened in 1902 to house pauper children away from the workhouse
