Children's Ward, Wandsworth & Clapham Union Infirmary
A children's ward in the Wandsworth and Clapham Union infirmary, St John's Hill, south west London. The children sleep in metal-framed cots. Originally opened in 1840 as the Wandsworth workhouse, it became the Union infirmary in 1886. The site was later known as St John's Hospital
