Downs Children's Hospital, Sutton, Surrey
Aerial view of the Downs Children's Hospital on Banstead Road, Sutton, Surrey, originally opened in 1883 as part of the South Metropolitan District School for pauper children. The site was acquired by the Metropolitan Asylums Board in 1902. In recent times, the site has been occupied by the Royal Marsden and Sutton Hospitals and the Institute for Cancer Research
