Great Barr Park Colony, Staffordshire
Female homes and hockey ground at the Great Barr Park Colony, Staffordshire. The colony, for what were then termed mental defectives, was opened in around 1918 by the Walsall and West Bromwich Joint Committee to house people with severe learning difficulties. The site was later renamed St Margaret's Hospital
