Greenwich Union Cottage Homes, Sidcup, Kent
Entrance to The Hollies, the Greenwich and Deptford Union cottage homes site at Lamorbey, near Sidcup, Kent. A group of children stand inside the gate. The homes were opened in 1902 to house pauper children away from the workhouse. As well as the 24 children's cottages, the site had its own schools, infirmary, and swimming baths
