Group picture of male and female staff at The Hollies, the Greenwich and Deptford Union cottage homes site at Lamorbey, near Sidcup, Kent. The homes were opened in 1902 to house pauper children away from the workhouse. The children were housed in 24 cottages under the supervision of house parents. The site had its own schools, infirmary, and swimming baths
