Greenwich Union Workhouse, Vanbrugh Hill, Greenwich
Part of the infirmary at the Greenwich Union workhouse at Vanbrugh Hill, south east London. A sign on the front of the nearmost building reads Calvert Road. The infirmary was opened in 1876 and enlarged a decade later. The site later became known as Greenwich and Deptford Hospital, and then as St Alfege's Hospital
