Hackney Union School, Brentwood, Essex
Children at the Hackney Union School, Brentwood, formerly the Brentwood District School and set up by the Shoreditch Guardians in 1854 to house pauper children. From about 1917, the Metropolitan Asylums Board housed sane epileptics at the site. It later became known as St Faith's Hospital
