Ida Hospital, Cookridge, Leeds
The Ida Hospital for convalescent patients at Cookridge, near Leeds, opened in 1888 following a bequest by John North. The single-storey ward wings had verandahs on which beds could be placed in the open air. A uniformed nurse is standing with a number of patients including two children supported by crutches
