Lambeth Workhouse Schools, Norwood, South London
The parish of Lambeth operated a workhouse school on Elder Road, West Norwood, South London. In 1885, the premises were extended with the erection of the New School buildings. This view shows the entire school on parade outside the New School's main entrance, with the boys band resplendent in their uniforms
