The Lower Southern Hospital at Gore Farm, Dartford, during its First World War use as a military hospital. Several uniformed personnel are visible. The hospital was set up in 1883 by the Metropolitan Asylums Board for smallpox convalescents. The site later became the Southern Convalescent Hospital
