Main entrance, Union workhouse, Tendring, Essex
The main entrance and front driveway of the Tendring Union workhouse at Tendring Heath, Essex. A man, perhaps the workhouse porter, can just be seen. The building, designed by George Gilbert Scott and William Bonython Moffatt, was opened in 1838. It later became known as Heath Hospital
