Mitford and Launditch Union Workhouse, Gressenhall, Norfolk
Entrance to the Mitford and Launditch Union workhouse at Gressenhall, Norfolk, originally opened in 1777 by the Mitford and Launditch Hundreds Incorporation. Just visible in the picture is one of the inmates and a member of the workhouse staff, probably the porter. Later known as Beech Hill House, the building is now a museum
