National Children's Home, Edgworth, Lancashire
Lancashire branch of the National Children's Home at Edgworth near Bolton. Two young men and an older man are at work in the bakery, weighing and kneading dough. To the rear are ovens and racks of cooked loaves of bread. The home, later known as Crowthorn Special Needs Residential School, finally closed in 2002
