National Children's Home, Edgworth, Lancashire
Boys constructing a reservoir at the Children's Home on the Moor at Edgworth near Bolton. Founded in 1872 by Methodist minister Thomas Bowman Stephenson, the home became the first National Children's Home. It was later known as Crowthorn Special Needs Residential School and closed in 2002
