The Rowton House on Arlington Road, Camden, north west London. Rowton Houses, of which six were erected around London, were large, purpose-built, low-cost hostels or doss-houses for working men. They were established by Lord Rowton (Montagu William Lowry Corry). The Camden Rowton House, the last to be built in London, opened in 1905 and was designed by Harry Measures
