Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport
Administration block of Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport. The hospital was opened as Stepping Hill Infirmary by the Stockport Union in 1905 to improve on the medical facilities that existed at the Union's workhouse. The central administrative block was linked by covered walkways to a number of separate pavilion ward blocks
