Tooting Bec Asylum, Tooting Graveney, Surrey
Tooting Bec Asylum, at Tooting Graveney, was erected in 1899-1903 by the Metropolitan Asylums Board. It provided care for senile patients, infirm epileptics, and others requiring exceptional individual attention'. In 1924 it was renamed Tooting Bec Mental Hospital, later Tooting Bec Hospital
