Union Workhouse, Tonbridge, Kent, Jubilee Celebrations
The Tonbridge Union workhouse bedecked with flags, its lawns covered with chairs, and inmates sprawled on the grass. Thought to be the occasion of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. The workhouse buildings later became part of Pembury Hospital
