Wandsworth & Clapham Workhouse, Garratt Lane, London
Part of the new Wandsworth and Clapham Union Workhouse, at Swaffield Road, off Garratt Lane in south west London. It opened in 1886 and was designed by TW Aldwinckle. The large building on the left contained male and female dining halls on its ground floor, with a chapel above. After 1930 the site became the London County Council's Brocklebank Institution
