Entrance to Wandsworth Union workhouse infirmary, St John's Hill, south west London. Originally opened in 1840 as the Wandsworth workhouse, it was designed by George Ledwell Taylor. After 1886, it became the Union's infirmary and was later known as St John's Hospital
