Western Hospital, Seagrave Road, Fulham
A uniformed nurse stands in front of the Western Fever Hospital on Seagrave Road, Fulham. Opened in 1877, it was the fourth such hospital to be erected by the Metropolitan Asylums Board which in 1869 became responsible for certain classes of the sick poor in metropolitan London. The site later became Fulham Hospital
