"One of a great series of studies of St Ives, Cornwall. The end of the Wharf and start of Quay Street. Two women on the Harbour beach with their bike and a small boy playing with his scooter. Near them is an almost buried boat trolley with iron wheels. At the end of the Wharf two people sit on a bench having a conversation. Another bike is parked against the gable of the cottages."
