"One of a great series of studies of St Ives, Cornwall. The Wharf and Quay Street from Seagull Flats, Morning. The Harbour Beach Foresand, cottages and Quay House, St Leonard's Chapel, the Pilot's Office (now the Harbour Master's Office), punts on the beach and washing drying, so it's probably Monday. On the bottom right is the large sewer pipe at the bottom of the small slipway Curnow's Slip."
