Kumar the Tiger - with Dickie Chipperfield
Kumar the Tiger at a few months old with Dickie Chipperfield, son of Mary Chipperfield of the circus family. Born at London Zoo, Kumar later moved to Southampton Zoo, and then to Longleat, where he was looked after by Mary Chipperfield. In the early 1970s he was appearing in Pets Corner at the Blair Drummond Safari Park in Stirling, Scotland
