Kumar the Tiger - suckled by labrador foster mother
Kumar the Tiger at four weeks old, being suckled (along with four puppies) by a black labrador foster mother, as his own mother was unable to feed him. Born at London Zoo, he later moved to Southampton Zoo, and then to Longleat, where he was looked after by Mary Chipperfield of the circus family. In the early 1970s he was appearing in Pets Corner at the Blairdrummond Safari Park in Stirling, Scotland
