Boarding at the Barceloneta dock of the military battalions Luchana and Mallorca, from Tarragona and Valencia respectively, expeditionaries to the Canary Islands, on April 5, 1898. They embarked on the steamers (Golondrinas) that transferred them to the Mail Steamship Antonio Lopez which sailed for Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Photoengraving.
