Boris III (, 1894-1943). King of Bulgaria (1919-1943). He succeeded his father, Ferdinand I. Stambolijski agrarian dictatorship kept him from governing. In 1934 he suspended the constitution and introduced his authoritarian regime that lasted until his death. He was murdered by the Nazis in 1943 while returning from an interview with Hitler.
