Gallic Wars (58 BC-50 BC). Caesar's campaign against the Belgae in 57 BC. The battle of the Aisne (57 BC). The Belgic tribes cross the Aisne River through the right and left of Caesar's camp to attack the bridge entrenchments. Caesar's cavalry attacks the Belgae on the river bank causing many deaths.
