Gonzalo Fernandez de Cordoba The Great Captain

Second Italian War (1499-1504). Fight between the Spanish Empire and the kingdom of France. The Spanish army was sent to Italy by the Catholic Monarchs with the aim of recovering the kingdom of Naples, seized by France from Spain. Gonzalo Fernandez de Cordoba The Great Captain (1453-1515) before the corpse of Louis d'Armagnac (1472-1503), Duc de Nemours, died in combat during the Battle of Cerinola, 1503.
