Jean Joseph Dussault (Jean Francois Joseph Dussault)

Jean Joseph Dussault (Jean Francois Joseph Dussault) (1769-1824). French journalist, literary critic and librarian. After the fall of Robespierre, he published several pamphlets against the leading figures of the Revolution. Dussault collaborated with Veridique, a newspaper hostile to the Directory, and managed, not without difficulty, to escape the deportation to which he was condemned. Portrait. Drawing by Lienard.
