King Amadeo I of Spain (1845-1890) visiting the corpse of General Prim (1814-1870). Scene of the monarch at the Basilica of Atocha (Madrid) to veil the coffin of Prim, on 2 January 1871, who was assassinated in an attack on 27 December 1870.
