Morocco. Englishmen of the Globe Venture Syndicate, captured by troops of the Sultan, on board of the Moroccan steamship Al-Hassani. The English expedition, aided by the disgruntled natives, occupied the port of Arksis, but were interrupted while disembarking supplies and ammunition by the Jerifian steamer Al-Hassani. British opened fire from their steamer Tourmaline to prevent the capture of one of their boats, but one boat was captured before it could reach the Tourmaline.
