Soltaniyeh - Capital of the rulers of the Persian Ikhanate
Persia, Soltaniyeh (Zanjan province). The capital of the rulers of the Persian Ikhanate during the 14th century. Mausoleum of the eighth Mongolian khan Il-Khan Oljeitu or the great Dome of Soltaniyeh (1302-1312). At the end of the 16th century the town was practically abandoned and its monuments in ruins.
